Position: Volunteer Trustee
Can we Trust you to run our organisation?
Have you gained skills in life that you feel could benefit a small, local organisation? Do you work in the city/retired but want to give to the local community? Here’s your chance to make a difference where it counts!
The Wayside Community Centre is a dynamic, grassroots organisation serving mostly Black and Ethnic Minority communities in the London Borough of Hackney. We are now looking for serious, committed trustees to help in the strategic management and leadership of this community-based organisation to see the services expand and reach those who need them most.
Knowledge and experience of working in the voluntary sector and/or of business, strategic or financial management are desirable but not essential. We are looking for vision, passion and personal commitment.
This is a voluntary position which will not only help build the organisation, but can help build your confidence and skill set, too, especially as you may be eligible for free training to help you along the way.
