Services

The Drop-in

Drop in meetingsThe Drop in is a warm, friendly and welcoming place. Anyone who feels the need for friendship and companionship can come and socialize with other like minded people. The project allows users/customers to share life experiences, encourage each other and build lasting relationships.

The aims are:

  • To see an improvement in the health and quality of life
  • To enable empowerment through direct involvement in centre's activities
  • To give service users a sense of purpose and self worth

Christian Fellowship

People experiencing loss, stress, or pain often feel the need for guidance and prayer. People needing such service can drop- in at any time and find support on a one to one basis.

Fellowship meetings however are held regularly on a weekday morning 11.30am -1.00PM.

This church event attracts people who are unable to attend their regular church on a Sunday, and those without a church base. If you fit into one or more of these categories why not come along and take part in a time of fellowship.

Outreach

This project is two fold, it provides friendships with elderly, mentally ill people by going into their homes and just be there for them. Clients are encouraged to care for themselves, and helped with advocacy, and other necessary chores. It also provide for those who are spiritually deprived for want of going to church through a disability of some sort. Here users are given the sort of service they identify.

Charity Shop

wayside charity shopThe provision of a charity shop gives those on a low income the chance to purchase good quality clothing at affordable prices. Parents often complain of sibling demand for brand names which are expensive and outside the reach of their pockets. By selling the type of product that the customers want we satisfy the needs of both parent and child without leaving customers out of pocket.

The aims are:

  • To give customers on a low income a sense of pride and efficiency.
  • To give value for money.
